Oil on canvas, 61 x 50cm.
Here are four steps of the painting process and the result.

A couple of weeks ago, there was the first beautiful warm afternoon light in a long time. I was in the “what am i going to paint next” stage (that I am soon going to return to).
So I photographed a few things in the light on the balcony, including these roses on a plastic box and added water on them.
The result was the last image you can see in the slideshow. I thought the light and composition were quite ideal and started painting. But then I got bored and changed things and here you have the result.
